TALENTED PUPILS DESIGN MSP CHRISTMAS CARDS

Three pupils from Thornton Primary School have been announced as the winners of MSP Jenny Gilruth’s Christmas card competition.

The Mid Fife and Glenrothes SNP politician received lots of creative cards featuring fantastic festive artwork however the three selected to be used as her official constituency Christmas cards featured the new Queensferry Crossing, the Kelpies and a Scottish reindeer sporting a thistle.

Ms Gilruth met all three artists, Jamie Galloway, Thomas Smith and Amy Smith in person to congratulate them on winning the competition and presented them with special certificates.

Thornton Primary head teacher Irene Johnson said she was “very proud” of all pupils for their creative efforts.
