MOTION TO CONGRATULATE PARKHILL PRIMARY SCHOOL

Published date : 05 May 2017

Jenny Gilruth MSP has lodged a motion (S5M-05463: “Parkhill Primary School Travel Plan”) asking the Scottish Parliament to congratulate Parkhill Primary School on launching its new School Travel Plan.

The motion text reads:

“That the Parliament congratulates Parkhill Primary School in Leven on launching its School Travel Plan; understands that its Travel Action Group (TAG) has been working hard to educate pupils on road safety and other important school travel issues; firmly agrees that safety when travelling to and from school is hugely important and must be a priority safety concern; encourages more schools to fully involve pupils and their parents as key stakeholders in developing travel plans; extends its best wishes to the pupils, and hopes that they feel safe and reassured when travelling to and from school.”
