Published date : 25 Aug 2017

Jenny Gilruth MSP has lodged a motion (S5M-07280: “Leonard Cheshire Disability Fife Firewalk”) asking the Scottish Parliament to commend Leonard Cheshier Disability Fife on hosting a charity firewalk to raise funds for a sensory garden.

The motion text reads:

“That the Parliament commends Leonard Cheshire Disability Fife on hosting a charity firewalk over coals on 9 September 2017 to raise funds for a sensory garden; notes that the unique challenge will mark the month of what would have been the charity founder, Leonard Cheshire’s, 100th birthday, and wishes the disability charity every success in both meeting the £10,000 fundraising target and all future endeavours.”
