“2018 in not only the Year of Young People, it’s the 70th anniversary of Glenrothes.
“This new fund presents a huge opportunity for local groups to mark our town’s heritage and inspire young people to be at the forefront of the celebrations.
“Figures show in parts of the town one in three children live in poverty – this new fund presents an opening for projects to improve the lives of young people in Glenrothes’.
“I strongly encourage groups to come forward and make the most of the funding, with the town’s 70th anniversary in mind.”
