GILRUTH TO WELCOME TRADE MINISTER TO GLENROTHES

Glenrothes MSP, Jenny Gilruth, has this week (05/02/20) secured a visit to the DPS Group in Glenrothes with the Scottish Government Minister for Trade, Investment and Innovation, Ivan McKee MSP.

In Parliament, the MSP highlighted the work of DPS Group – a Glenrothes based business and one of the UK’s only integrated Electrical, Instrumentation and Control Systems providers.

The DPS Group have played a major role in the new systems for Superglass in Stirling and have provided bespoke lighting and electrical systems for the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo.

Commenting, the Glenrothes MSP said:

”DPS Group based in Glenrothes are one of the UK’s only integrated Electrical, Instrumentation and Control Systems providers.

”I am delighted that the Minister has agreed to visit DPS Group in Glenrothes with me and look forward to learning more about the organisation’s various projects and to understand the role they play in supporting businesses globally and closer to home.”

The Minister for Trade, Investment and Innovation, Ivan McKee MSP, said:

”I spend a considerable amount of time travelling around the country visiting innovative businesses to understand the great technology that Scotland has to offer and how the Scottish Government can support businesses to internationalise that technology.

”I would be delighted to join the member in her constituency to visit this business and understand what they can contribute to Scotland’s strong economy.”

Colin Burnett, DPS Group Director added:

”We are delighted that the Scottish Minister for Trade, Investment and Innovation, Ivan McKee has accepted Jenny Gilruth’s invitation to visit us.
