Title: Woodside Court Care Residents Knit Trauma Teddies

Motion Text:

That the Parliament commends the efforts of residents at HC-One’s Woodside Court Care Home in Glenrothes on knitting 30 trauma teddies to bring comfort to children who are going through a difficult or distressing time; notes that police forces across the UK are appealing for local communities to help in creating trauma teddies, which originally started in Australia; understands that, when residents at the home were asked for their assistance, they all jumped at the opportunity, creating 30 teddies in different colours, and wishes the trauma teddies project the best of luck.
