Pitcoudie Primary School to Spruce Up Retirement Home's Garden

Publised date : 23 Apr 2019

That the Parliament commends the P7 pupils of Pitcoudie Primary School on reaching out to the Bield Inchkeith Court Retirement Home in Glenrothes by offering to renovate its garden as part of a social enterprise project that will see the young people weed the garden, plant flowers that they have grown from seed and hand-paint stones with their school crest alongside the home’s name; understands that this will help the home’s tenants take full advantage of outdoor space and features; notes that the project forms part of a social enterprise initiative with the children pledging to carry out a variety of worthwhile community projects, and wishes them every success with this project and their other endeavours.
