Publised date : 13 Sep 2017

Jenny Gilruth MSP has lodged a Motion (S5M -07651) asking the Scottish Parliament to congratulate her constituent Graeme Brown from Windygates on his successful fundraising efforts.

The Motion text reads

"That the Parliament commends Graeme Brown, a classically trained musician from Windygates, on his efforts to raise funds for MND Scotland; understands that Graeme has raised over £6,000 so far, with an aim to raise more funds at a bingo night to be held on 16 September 2017; notes that Graeme began raising funds for MND Scotland in 2013, following his mother's diagnosis with the condition; wishes Graeme every success with the event, and supports individuals and families affected by motor-neurone disease as research into both the disease and treatment continues."
