Motion - Success for Mid Fife and Glenrothes Swimmers

hat the Parliament congratulates Brooke Gillies, Lara Ferguson and Helen Mackay, on their success at the Scottish Masters swimming competition, which took place in Glasgow; notes that Brooke, who is from Glenrothes and was taking part in the event for the first time, won three golds in the 19-24 age category; acknowledges that Helen, who is a member of Glenrothes Amateur Swimming Club, won a bronze and a silver, while, Lara, who is from Leslie, won two silvers and a bronze in the 35-39 age category, and applauds the organisers of the masters' events for encouraging swimmers of all ages, abilities and motivations to compete, helping to improve participants' health and physical fitness along the way.
