Motion - Prezli Millar Tackles Ben Nevis Challenge

Publised date : 02 Oct 2018

Motion Text:

That the Parliament congratulates the fundraising efforts of 12-year-old Prezli Millar from Thornton, who donated £465 to Frontline Fife after climbing Ben Nevis; notes that Prezli and a fundraising friend took eight hours to reach the summit of the country’s tallest mountain after training by trekking up local hills; acknowledges that this is not the first, or last, fundraising that Prezli has taken part in, as she completed the Race for Life in 2016 for her friend who was diagnosed with cancer, and, in 2017, she cut her hair for the Princess Trust; understands that Frontline Fife provides support and advice to people who are in danger of becoming, or already are, homeless, and wishes Prezli the best of luck with her future fundraising efforts.
