Motion - New Drop-In Shop Offering Vital Support in Glenrothes

That the Parliament welcomes the opening of a new one-stop drop-in centre by the Glenrothes Area Residents Association (GARF), which aims to help people with a range of services, from dealing with fuel bills to using computers; notes that it is located at the Kingdom Shopping Centre; understands that its easy to access central location is already proving a success, with many regular users; believes that the chair of GARF, Ian Robertson, has said that it is absolutely vital to have this facility as increasing numbers of people are seeking specific advice and support with issues such as fuel poverty, welfare reform and universal credit, and wishes the GARF team continued success.
