Motion - Mona Malcolm Retires After a Stellar Career

Publised date : 25 Sep 2019

That the Parliament celebrates 90-year-old Mona Malcolm, who has retired from the Glenrothes Amateur Musical Association (GAMA) after a lifetime of service; understands that Mona joined GAMA as a founding member in 1966 and appeared in every performance for the next 40 years; acknowledges that the soprano retired from the stage in 2005 but continued to dedicate her time to the company for many more years, and wishes her the very best in her retirement.
