Motion - Largo Man Launches Alcohol-free Spirit

Publised date : 16 Jan 2020

That the Parliament congratulates the Fife businessman, Bill Garnock, from Upper Largo, and Jamie Wild, who have created Scotland’s first alcohol-free spirit, Feragaia; understands that Feragaia is a distilled alcohol-free spirit made from 14 land and sea botanicals, and is distilled, blended and bottled in the Scottish Lowlands; notes that the spirit launched in July 2019 but is "causing a stir" during Dry January, a month where it considers alcohol is typically given up as a form of New Years resolution, and wishes Bill and Jamie all the best going forward with their unique product.
