Motion - Glenrothes Community Based Adult Learner's Achievement Awards

Publised date : 27 Jun 2019

That the Parliament welcomes the Glenrothes Community Based Adult Learners’ Achievement Awards, which were held in Auchmuty Learning Centre, in partnership with Fife College, and which provided the opportunity to mark the success of adult learners and volunteers and reflect on the achievements and the progress that they have made on their lifelong learning journey; understands that the awards presented reflect the variety of courses and programmes that are available at the learning centre, including personal development and self-esteem courses, a further education preparation course, a digital skills course, adult basic education and volunteering; acknowledges that there was a special mention and presentation for Kay Hamilton, a Fife College lecturer, who is retiring after 13 years of working and supporting students at the centre, and wishes everyone both currently and previously involved in the centre the best of luck with their future.
