Motion - FORP Easter Egg Hunt

Publised date : 25 Apr 2019

That the Parliament congratulates Friends of Riverside Park (FORP) on organising a hugely popular Easter egg hunt in Glenrothes, which saw many having to queue just to register for the event on 17 April 2019, with approximately 450 adults and children turning up; understands that it was advertised prior to the event that the first 120 people to complete the treasure hunt would receive a free egg but, due to the volume of those in attendance, and thanks to the generosity of FORP, another 180 eggs were purchased on the day to make sure everyone who had waited in line had a chance to get a prize, and wishes FORP continued success with future community events.
