Title: 25th Anniversary of DAPL

Motion Text:

That the Parliament congratulates the Drug and Alcohol Partnership Limited (DAPL) on marking its 25th anniversary; notes that the project was established in 1994 in response to the growing drugs and alcohol problem in the Levenmouth area to offer support to young people and their families who are affected by alcohol and drug abuse, resulting in the premises in Parkdale Avenue, Leven, being opened in 1997; applauds the efforts of DAPL in being a lifeline for many people across Fife to address urgent and serious issues and in supporting the people affected by them; acknowledges that a number of events are being organised during 2019 to mark the 25th anniversary, and wishes all staff and volunteers at DAPL continued success in their endeavour to provide support to Fife families in future years.
