Motion - Cadham and Leslie Libraries Achieve Dementia Friendly Status

Publised date : 23 Oct 2018

Motion Text:

That the Parliament congratulates Cadham and Leslie libraries on being designated as dementia friendly, meaning all Fife Cultural Trust venues in Glenrothes have now achieved that status; understands that the Dementia Friendly Glenrothes initiative is a partnership between health and social care services and Alzheimer Scotland, with support from Fife Council, which aims to support those living with dementia in remaining a valued part of their community; notes that this has been an extremely positive project, raising staff awareness and making small changes that make a huge difference, and wishes Dementia Friendly Glenrothes continued success with the project.
