Motion - Auchmuty High School Receives Funding for Cycling Promotion

Jenny Gilruth MSP has lodged Motion S5M-15210 in The Scottish Parliament to congratulate them on receiving funding from Cycle Scotland to help promote cycling among students and staff.

Title: Auchmuty High School Receives Funding for Cycling Promotion

Motion Text:

That the Parliament congratulates Auchmuty High School on being of 22 schools to receive funding from Cycling Scotland’s Cycle Friendly Secondary School Development Fund, which aims to promote cycling among pupils and staff; notes that this is supported by Transport Scotland and helps fund the provision of facilities and projects that aim to encourage more travel by bike, including by offering maintenance training and equipment and cycle qualifications, and wishes the school the best of luck with this project.
