Motion - 30th Anniversary of the UNCRC

That the Parliament acknowledges World Children’s Day 2019; acknowledges that this year will mark the 30th anniversary of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC); welcomes the work to date to protect and advance children’s rights in Scotland, notably the First Minister’s commitment to incorporate the UNCRC into Scots Law, and believes that Scotland can be a world-leading nation through its commitment to children’s rights.
