Morrisons Book Donation

That the Parliament commends the charitable action of Morrisons supermarket by donating a bundle of new books to Warout Primary School in Glenrothes to celebrate World Book Day; understands that the books will be gifted to the primary school thanks to a partnership between the Morrisons Foundation and the National Literacy Trust, and aims to help children from local communities fall in love with books and reading this World Book Day, and notes that the donation is part of a national project, funded by the foundation, that will see every Morrisons store across the country donate a bundle of books to a local primary school, resulting in more than 7,300 brand new books in hundreds of schools
