MOTION TO CONGRATULATE FIFE COMMUNITY FOOD PROJECT

That the Parliament congratulates the Fife Community Food Project on being awarded the Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland President's Award for 2017; recognises that the project plays a key role in tackling food insecurity across Fife by working with people and families on low incomes to develop knowledge, skills and confidence around preparing healthy meals; understands that it won the award in recognition of its significant contribution to the improvement and protection of health and wellbeing in Scotland through community training activities, and wishes all involved with the project every success.
