Fife Gingerbread Secures New Funding

Publised date : 20 Mar 2019

That the Parliament welcomes the news that Fife Gingerbread has secured new funding following discussions with The Scottish Government and Fife Council, after facing financial crisis with a number of funding deals coming to an end in a short space of time at the beginning of the year; understands that The Scottish Government confirmed that it would provide £91,000 to the charity to continue family work and care in Leven for another year; notes that in order to protect existing projects and minimise impact on families, the organisation has gone through a restructuring process, with staff roles adapting to fit the new model along with a number of redundancies; wishes Fife Gingerbread every success.
