Fife College celebrates preforming art students award winning performance

Jenny Gilruth MSP lodged Motion S5M-155 to congratulate Fife College’s Fiona Howe, who is from Kinglassie, and her fellow performing arts students on their award-winning performance that helped raise awareness of climate change in the Levenmouth area.

Title: Fife College Students Use Their Creativity to Make an Impact on Climate Change in Levenmouth

Motion Text: That the Parliament congratulates Fife College’s Fiona Howe, who is from Kinglassie, and her fellow performing arts students on their award-winning performance that helped raise awareness of climate change in the Levenmouth area, in particular at the River Leven; recognises that this is the first collaboration between Fife College and the River Leven project, which saw acting and theatre performance students set the task of producing a media project centred around the immediate Leven area that highlighted concerns about climate change and adaptation; understands that this particular project is a partnership between Creative Carbon Scotland, SEPA, Fife Council, Adaptation Scotland and Fife College; thanks everyone involved for their involvement, and wishes Fiona Howe, all the students at Fife College and the River Leven Project all the best in 2019.
