Clued Up Project Awarded Cash Boost in Glenrothes

Publised date : 22 Nov 2018

That the Parliament congratulates the ambitious three-year project, Clued Up, which aims to get young people aged 12 to 18 involved in their own community in Auchmuty, on being awarded £317,095 from the Big Lottery’s £4.4 million Scotland Fund; notes that Clued Up is one of the only two projects in Fife to benefit from the fund, and that the money will go directly into supporting one of Fife’s most deprived areas; understands that the funding gives Clued Up a unique opportunity to engage with young people in the area, creating a range of exciting ways for those involved to learn new skills, and will also allow those young people to have a say in how the project is shaped and in what ways they want to use it to benefit their local communities; acknowledges that the project will create a sense of place and a pride in their community and will bring a wealth of learning opportunities, and wishes all those involved in the project the best of luck.
