Asda Raising Vital Funds for Children in Need

Publised date : 22 Nov 2018

Motion Text: That the Parliament commends Asda store colleagues in Glenrothes who are raising vital funds for the BBC Children in Need 2018 campaign as part of Asda’s 18th annual fundraising drive for the cause; understands that fundraising will take place in store and in the local area, led by the Community Champion, Avril Dullea; notes that the theme of the activities will centre around the campaign, The Power to Play, which champions the importance of play in child development and aims to inspire simple new ideas for playing with a little imagination, as well as Pudsey parties and cake sales, and wishes the staff at Asda the best of luck with their fundraising efforts.
