Mid Fife and Glenrothes MSP Jenny Gilruth has praised the “dedicated” work of the Living Lomonds Landscape Partnership on its third year anniversary of landscape conservation work reconnecting local people with the Lomond and Benarty Hills.
The scheme has involved over 450 volunteers, 800 primary and secondary school pupils, 560 events, three rural skills academies and six apprenticeships through a range of community based activities, volunteering opportunities and projects.
Ms Gilruth said: “The Living Lomonds Partnership is a dedicated initiative which, since it began three years ago, has helped a number of key conservation and heritage projects across Fife and I wish everyone involved every success for the future.”
