MOTION TO CONGRATULATE GLENROTHES SWIMMER

Jenny Gilruth MSP has lodged a motion (S5M-07281: “Mark Szaranek, Commonwealth Games Funding”) asking the Scottish Parliament to congratulate Mark Szaranek, Glenrothes swimmer, on receiving sportscotland funding to support his Commonwealth Games 2018 participation.

The motion text reads:

“That the Parliament congratulates Mark Szaranek, a Glenrothes swimmer, on receiving an individual sportscotland athlete personal award; understands that he has been awarded a £6,000 grant designed to provide additional support for training and expenses, and wishes him luck in his future bid for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games in Australia.”
