On 14th February the latest funding rounds for the People’s Postcode Trust, Postcode Local Trust and Postcode Community Trust will open for applications.

People’s Postcode Trust seeks applications for projects that focus on the prevention of poverty, promotion of human rights and equal rights. www.postcodetrust.org.uk

Postcode Local Trust supports community gardens, play areas, wildlife and green energy projects. www.postcodelocaltrust.org.uk

Postcode Community Trust focuses on grass-roots sports, arts, recreation and healthy living programmes. www.postcodecommunitytrust.org.uk

Applications close on February 28.

Ms Gilruth said:

“During my time as MSP for the Mid Fife and Glenrothes constituency, I’ve been lucky enough to meet with a number of incredible local charities and community groups. The funding offered by the People’s Postcode Lottery could have a real impact on people’s lives in Fife.

“With millions of pounds available to help a range of great causes, I hope charities make use of this excellent opportunity.

Clara Govier, Head of Charities at People’s Postcode Lottery, said:

“2017 was a fantastic year for hundreds of grass-roots projects who received funding from these three Trusts in excess of £8.2 Million. We want to encourage charities to grab this opportunity so that they can continue to make a huge difference to communities around the country.”
