MSP CONGRATULATES PUPILS ON FIRST CHANCES SUCCESS

Jenny Gilruth, MSP for Mid Fife and Glenrothes attended a special event at Auchmuty High School to hand out certificates to pupils who completed the First Chances Programme.

First Chances is an innovative partnership between the University of St Andrews, Fife Council’s Education service and the Robertson Trust to raise the aspirations and attainment of selected pupils from P7 throughout their high school journey, with continued support into higher education.

Jenny said: “I was delighted to have been asked along to Auchmuty High School to meet everyone involved in the First Chances project and to congratulate pupils for their achievements.”
