MOTION TO WELCOME GLENROTHES SUPPORT FROM THE ASDA GREEN TOKEN GIVING FUND

Jenny Gilruth MSP has lodged a motion (S5M-05749) asking the Scottish Parliament to congratulate Age Concern, Sense Scotland and the Salvation Army on receiving support from the Asda Green Token Giving fund, and to thank Asda Glenrothes for supporting local causes.

The motion text reads:

“That the Parliament congratulates Age Concern, Glenrothes on being awarded £500 by the Asda Green Token Giving fund, and Sense Scotland and the Salvation Army, which were each presented with £200; understands that the programme is funded by The Asda Foundation and aims to make the communities around Asda stores better places to live and work, with each project that it supports nominated by the people in each particular store’s area, and thanks Asda Glenrothes on its commitment to communities and for supporting such great local causes.”
