MOTION TO CONGRATULATE NEW CO-LEADER OF FIFE COUNCIL

Jenny Gilruth MSP has lodged a motion (S5M-05680) asking the Scottish Parliament to congratulate the newly-appointed Co-Leader of Fife Council, David Alexander.

The motion text reads:

“That the Parliament congratulates David Alexander on being appointed the new Co-Leader on 18 May 2017 by his colleagues in Fife Council; understands that David was recently re-elected to represent the Leven, Kennoway and Largo ward as a councillor in the council; recognises that he will work with Co-Leader David Ross to provide effective leadership of the new SNP/Labour partnership administration of Fife Council, and wishes him the very best for his future work in this role.”
