MOTION TO CONGRATULATE AGNES WHYTE MBE

Jenny Gilruth MSP has lodged a motion (S5M-05751) asking the Scottish Parliament to congratulate Agnes Whyte from Leven on being appointed an MBE.

The motion text reads:

“That the Parliament congratulates Agnes Whyte, who is from Leven, on being appointed an MBE in the New Year’s Honours in recognition of her tireless work as the chair of Breathe Easy Kirkcaldy, which is a support arm of the British Lung Foundation (BLF); understands that Agnes has raised in excess of £46,000 for the BLF and was instrumental in the campaign to ban in-car smoking with children, and wishes her the very best.”
