EXCITING US EXCHANGE OPPORTUNITY FOR FIFTH YEAR PUPILS IN FIFE

Fifth year pupils in Fife who earned six or more As or Bs in their S4 qualifications are being invited to apply for an exciting educational exchange opportunity in America in Summer 2017!
The initiative, ran by the Sutton Trust U.S Program, is centred on a one-week summer school at a leading American university, with introductory events and application support in the UK before and after. Previous host campuses have included Harvard, Yale, and MIT.
The Sutton Trust U.S. Program provides high-achieving, state school students a taste of life at a top-tier American university.
Focusing on social mobility, the Sutton Trust U.S. Program is aimed at students from low or middle income families who would be the first generation in their family to go to university.
Jenny Gilruth, MSP for Mid Fife and Glenrothes said: “I would encourage all students in my constituency of Mid Fife and Glenrothes who fit the above criteria for this program to consider applying for this exciting, potentially life-changing experience.”
